Project Overview
WPSCC were first contacted by a leading national property developer in March 2024, to produce a Pre-Demolition Audit.
WPSCC visited a large estate comprising several buildings across multiple streets as part of a major regeneration scheme in North London. We had the opportunity to access the site and conducted a thorough inspection of the buildings. Site plans were unavailable at the time of the survey, so we created our own and documented the principal materials present. WPSCC took measurements of the buildings in order to calculate the Key Demolition Products (KDPs) resulting from demolition.
It was an invaluable visit that contributed to the overall success of the project. A strong working relationship was formed between WPSCC and the developer, underpinned by effective communication, collaboration, and mutual trust to achieve the desired outcome and successfully deliver the final report.
Our Story
Early in the process it became evident that WPSCC had taken on a substantial task, particularly given the tight timescales. However, we rose to the challenge and met the client’s requirements within the set deadlines. We were not only ready to accommodate new information and adapt accordingly, but also committed to producing an accurate report that included reclamation recommendations, local waste contractor suggestions, and a detailed breakdown of recovery options for the estate.
