What is the course about?
A totally unique, practical Environmental Permitting course, delivering not just the theory, i.e. the Regulations and Enforcement information, but also the practical application of the ‘rules’, i.e. How to use the Schedules and more, so for any activity that a company or client asks about, you will be able to identify the Permit that is required and then work out what is required for the Application.

- Calculation of application fees
- Test your knowledge exercises
This is a hands on course, perfect for not only Environmental Consultants wishing to offer / offering Permitting services, but also the operators of Permitted facilities staff training.
By the end of the course delegates will:
- Understand the usefulness of assessing permitting requirements prior to starting an application and know what information is needed at the start.
- Know the different types of permits and authorisations and how to identify which is required
- Know how to submit a Pre-application advice request and what it covers
- Understand the application forms and when they are required
- Be aware of the range of supplementary documents and plans that may be required
- Know how to calculate the Environment Agency Fees
- Understand what is required by a non-technical summary
- Understand the options for a written management system and what needs to be covered
- Understand the regulator requirements for site location plans.
How is the training course delivered?
The course will be Face to Face with only a small number of delegates (maximum of 6), to ensure the material can be delivered in the best and most effective way.
The course will use a variety of media and learning opportunities including a number of delegate activities and exercises.
Location: Our office which is located in Kettering Venture Park, Northamptonshire.

This course consists of three live tutor led sessions.
This is an Introduction to Environmental Permitting course, which will give you the basic knowledge required to identify and complete the relevant Permit Application forms and identify the supporting documents necessary, for Waste applications.
