September 1st 2023 was ‘D-day’ for a major change in how waste wood from Construction & Demolition (C&D) is to be classified.
This is extremely important, because many types of waste C&D wood now have to be tested as to whether they are hazardous, or not – before the wood can leave site!
This is a huge change and could have a massive impact at site level – we are here to help, whether that be with education (such as a quick video / Toolbox Talk), or practical assistance, such as Classification assistance, because you could be in breach of your Duty of Care obligations and wrong waste classification if you ‘get it wrong’.
