This award is open to all providers of consulting services, where the team is led by a woman or can demonstrate that the women on the team contribute significantly to the team’s overall success.
Nominations are accepted from teams within consultancies, individuals, partners and clients of consulting firms. Any size of firm may enter, from any jurisdiction and any relevant discipline. Examples of advice given must be submitted, quantifying the success of this advice and explaining the extent to which this helped clients, alongside testimonials from at least two clients.
Previous winners include Orange, New Directions and Duff & Phelps.
The below paragraph is an extract from the award application:
“Lara is passionate about compliance and never stops learning and developing. One of her highest passions is compliance with the Waste Duty of Care Regulations for the Construction Industry, which has specific challenges not experienced by any other industry and Lara is accepted as a leading specialist, having adapted the CIWM Duty of Care course specifically and now delivering it on behalf of the CIWM. In addition she is now a part time lecturer at Coventry University (lecturing on Waste Management, Hazardous Waste and Environmental Permitting compliance).”
This is a great follow-up to Lara winning the Outstanding Woman in Construction award a few years ago, but she is pleased this time that the ‘team’ have been recognised and not just her personally!
