Reduction of Noise Pollution (BREEAM Pol05)
What is a BREEAM POLO5 credit ?
The aim of this credit is to reduce the likelihood of noise arising from fixed installations on the new development affecting nearby noise-sensitive building types (receptors).
A suitable qualified acoustician is needed to carry out the required measurements post installation and report the findings. A further commitment to attenuate the noise source is required if proved necessary by the measurements.
