Do you need obligations sorted?
When Planning Permission is granted, certain conditions will no doubt be applied to that Permission, one clause of which could be what’s called the s106 obligations (particularly relevant in the GLA), imposed on the Developer. These obligations could vary, but unless ‘discharged’ there will be a financial penalty. One example we have experienced was a ‘rule’ to employ a certain level of Local Labour and this had to be measured and reported quarterly.
