Our Duty Of Care virtual training is a blended training course which combines live tutor led sessions over Zoom and online learning activities. This will ensure delegates understand their legal Duty of Care for the waste they produce or handle. It is applicable to:
- Any size of organisation
- Anyone who needs to ensure that waste is appropriately controlled to ensure compliance with your legal obligations
- Anyone who interacts with the transfer of waste and its related records.
Ensuring compliance with Duty of Care can benefit you by ensuring you are thinking about the most cost effect and most sustainable way of managing your waste. If that isn’t incentive enough, it also enables you to demonstrate that you have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that your waste is handled safely and legally throughout by everyone. - What are the 5 key obligations of Duty of Care
- How to comply with the obligations and how to check
- Getting to grips with the waste transfer notes and waste codes
- Understanding the relevant legislation and the consequences of getting it wrong
How is the Duty Of Care training course delivered?
WPSCC Ltd training is designed to be as sustainable as possible and to save you precious time and cost. We do this by offering a blended solution which combines online learning, work based activities to help you put it into practice immediately and live virtual tutor led sessions. The live tutor led sessions will utilise Zoom.
WPSCC Ltd trainers have years of experience of developing and delivering good quality, interactive training. Along side this, they also have many years of experience within the waste and resources management sectors as well as the construction and demolition sector. As Chartered Resource and Waste Managers they have demonstrated their expertise, understanding and commitment to the sector.
Time commitment:
- 15 minutes online introduction module
- 3 hr live tutor led session – No. 1
- Mixture of activities, videos online – approx 2 hrs
- 3 hr live tutor led session – No. 2
